About

Lifespan Psychology – The Diverse Practice – is a Private Psychological Therapy Practice established by Dr. Esther Cole. Dr. Cole is Clinical Director & Clinical Psychologist at Lifespan Psychology. Dr. Cole worked in the NHS for 12 years and joined the independent sector in 2017. She is co-editor of Psychological Therapy for Paediatric Acquired Brain Injury: Innovations for Children, Young People & Families (Jim, J. & Cole, E. 2019. London: Routledge). Dr. Cole is honoured to have received the Early Career Award 2020 from The British Psychological Society’s Division of Clinical Psychology.

Lifespan Psychology currently has a clinic base in Wimbledon, London, with plans to expand to further locations in 2021. The team also works nationally and internationally online and can offer online consultation, training and seminars.

Dr. Cole and Associates are from culturally and racially diverse backgrounds including the Caribbean, UK and Africa, offer a breadth and depth of skills and experience, and use a wide range of psychological therapies. They work therapeutically across the lifespan (with children, young people, adults and older adults) – those who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, trauma, emotional and psychological distress, physical and neurological conditions.

All psychological therapies and interventions are tailor-made to the uniqueness of the individual, child, family or organisation. The aim is to use the best available research evidence and to, therefore, be more effective at improving well-being within a specific timeframe.
