About

My name is Panagiotis Bouzianis (Panos) and I am an HCPC registered, Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I provide face to face and online psychological therapy to adults who want to:

address mental health concerns and symptoms,
cope better with challenging or overwhelming life situations,
identify what keeps them stuck or powerless,
discover more about their wants, needs and ambitions
understand their family, work, and romantic relationships better,
develop into the person they want to become.

Furthermore:

I specialize in evidence-based, contemporary Psychoanalytic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I work with young people, adults and older adults.
I offer sessions in English and in Greek.

My aim is to create a non-judgmental space where you can feel you can share your concerns without fear or shame. This way we can begin to examine the origin of your concerns, what keeps your difficulties going and how you want to best address them. I will listen to you carefully, help you clarify your situation and examine possible ways forward. I work within a psychoanalytic model of therapy to help clients identify chronic, pervasive and unconscious ideas about themselves and others. This way we can explore what maintains difficulties but also what drives, strengthens and motivates us. I also work with cognitive behavioural interventions which help address immediate and practical problems arising from stress, anxiety, avoidance, dependencies, obsessions and compulsions.

My special interests include eating disorders, trauma and resilience, gender and sexuality, relationship ruptures, meaning in life, and working with the unconscious. I also offer clinical supervision for psychology trainees.
