I’m an experienced qualified therapist. I am fully insured and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling which is complemented by a BA (Hons) Degree in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling. Being an integrative counsellor means I combine various approaches to tailor my way of working to best support your individual needs.
I specialise in working with individuals who may find themselves negotiating their way through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, domestic abuse, self-harm. Equally, I work with survivors of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sexual trauma, sexual violence, and childhood sexual abuse.
As a member of the BACP, I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions. As such I attend continued professional development training seminars on a regular basis.
As well as my general counselling practice, I work with survivors of sexual trauma, sexual violence, rape, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) at the Rape And Sexual Advice Support Centre (RASASC) in Guildford.
