About

The Elmwood Centre, formally known as The Family Therapy and Counselling Centre was established in Ranelagh in 1987 to provide counselling and psychotherapy services to the community. We are proud that our Centre is one of the longest established psychotherapy centres in Ireland. Our practice moved recently to beautiful new premises at 32 Lombard St East, Dublin 2. The Centre was established to provide therapy to individuals; couples and families who want to take the first step towards resolving their problems, improving their sense of wellbeing and developing the confidence to change.

Our Clinical Directors are Fiona MacAnna and Deborah Mulvany. Fiona trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist with Dublin City University and Trinity College, Dublin. Deborah is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and is accredited with The Psychological Society of Ireland. Our Associates in Elmwood are Vivienne Shields, Victoria Lloyd and Sarah Ruane. We also have an experienced team of professional therapists in The Elmwood Centre who work with us and are committed to providing you with counselling and psychotherapy services in a warm, confidential and safe environment.
